Across Laramie County, too many hardworking families are finding that homeownership is becoming increasingly out of reach. Rising construction costs and a limited supply of attainable homes have created one of our community's greatest challenges. Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County believes that challenge is one we can solve together.

Pronghorn Crossing is our answer.

This 12 home neighborhood is the largest project in our affiliate's history and represents a new vision for affordable homeownership in Wyoming. What once seemed out of reach became possible through the Unmet Housing Needs Fund and an extraordinary partnership between the State of Wyoming, the City of Cheyenne, and our community. Hundreds of volunteers, generous donors, local businesses, future homeowners, and the Wyoming Army National Guard's 307th Engineer Utilities Detachment invested their time, talent, and resources to make this neighborhood a reality. Together, we are proving that affordable housing is possible when a community chooses to invest in its future.

Habitat homes are not given away. Future homeowners invest 200 hours building alongside volunteers, complete financial and homeownership education, and purchase their home with an affordable mortgage. In return, they gain more than a house. They build equity, create financial stability, and establish a foundation for generations to come.
